2. What you buy
VibeiDE is orchestration software. You buy a personal, non-exclusive software licence per user, not ownership of the software or its intellectual property. Your own work remains yours, subject to any third-party rights. Do not share a paid seat between different users. Team plans license the number of seats purchased, including owners and managers.
Works with Claude Code and Codex, and supports configured OpenCode installations. Your provider accounts, subscriptions, inference charges, limits and terms are separate. Sign in through the supported provider CLI. Do not share credentials, bypass provider limits or use VibeiDE in breach of applicable provider rules.
VibeiDE is an independent product by Crowie s.r.o. and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic or OpenAI.
3. Ownership, copyright and prohibited copying
VibeiDE is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, including the Slovak Copyright Act (Act No. 185/2015 Coll.), European Union law and international treaties. This covers the desktop app, its installers and updates, its source and compiled code, user interface, designs, graphics, documentation and hosted services. All rights belong to Crowie s.r.o. and its licensors and are reserved. You receive only the licence described in these Terms. No other right passes to you, whether by downloading or installing the app, by implication or otherwise.
Unless a version was expressly supplied to you under a different licence, or applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction, you must not do, or help or allow anyone else to do, any of the following:
- copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, rent, lend, sublicense or otherwise make available VibeiDE or any part of it, including its installers, app bundle, source or compiled code, assets and updates, for example by uploading them to a code repository, file-sharing site, package registry, AI training dataset or chat;
- decompile, disassemble, unpack, reverse engineer or otherwise try to obtain its source code, except to the limited extent that applicable law, such as the rules on interoperability of computer programs, permits and does not allow a contract to exclude;
- copy any part of its source or compiled code, assets or documentation into another product, or modify and redistribute it, including by giving its code to an AI model to reproduce. Building your own product, including a competing one, is allowed as long as it copies none of VibeiDE;
- remove, hide or alter copyright notices, product names, code signatures or other proprietary markings;
- circumvent, disable or tamper with licence validation, trial limits, device binding, code signing, update checks or any other technical protection measure, or make or distribute tools for doing so;
- share a licence, account or seat with another person, or use paid features beyond what your licence or trial covers.
Open-source components and fonts included in VibeiDE remain under their own licences, listed in its third-party notices; these restrictions do not limit the rights those licences give you.
Your licence ends automatically if you breach these restrictions. You must then stop using VibeiDE and delete every copy you hold. Termination for intentional copying, distribution or circumvention does not depend on the notice and opportunity to resolve described in section 8. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
Consequences of unauthorised copying
Copying, distributing or using VibeiDE without permission infringes copyright. We enforce our rights and may claim, among other things, a court order stopping the infringement and removing its effects, including infringing copies, compensation for damage including lost profit, surrender of any unjust enrichment, and reimbursement of legal and enforcement costs.
Copyright infringement is also a criminal offence. Under Section 283 of the Slovak Criminal Code (Act No. 300/2005 Coll.), it is punishable by imprisonment of up to one year; up to two years where it is committed through a computer system, causes larger damage, is committed in a more serious manner or from a special motive; and from one to five years where it causes substantial or large-scale damage or is committed as a member of a dangerous group. Other countries impose comparable civil and criminal penalties. We may report infringements to law enforcement authorities and ask hosting providers and platforms to remove infringing copies.
Contractual penalty for business customers
This paragraph applies only if you use VibeiDE in your business or profession, including under a Team plan. It does not apply to consumers. For each breach of the restrictions above, you agree to pay Crowie s.r.o. a contractual penalty under Sections 544 and 545 of the Slovak Civil Code (Act No. 40/1964 Coll.) and Sections 300 to 302 of the Slovak Commercial Code (Act No. 513/1991 Coll.) of:
- Using VibeiDE without a licence, beyond your licence, or by sharing a licence, account or seat: three times the monthly list price, in force when the breach began, of the plan that would have covered the use, for every user and every started month of that use, and at least EUR 10,000 for every user concerned;
- Circumventing, disabling or tampering with licence validation, trial limits, device binding, code signing or any other technical protection measure, or making or distributing tools for doing so: EUR 50,000;
- Copying, publishing, distributing, selling or otherwise making VibeiDE or any part of its code available to anyone else, or copying its code, assets or documentation into another product: EUR 250,000.
Where one act falls under more than one item, the highest penalty applies to that act. The penalty is due within 15 days of our written demand. Paying it does not grant a licence, end your obligations or limit our right to compensation for damage exceeding the penalty or to the other remedies above.
How you accept these Terms
You accept these Terms when you create an account or sign in after being shown them, when you accept them in your account, or when you confirm a purchase. We keep an electronic record of each acceptance: your account, the version and a fingerprint of this exact text, the time, and whether it happened on the website or in the phone app. We archive the text of every version. See Privacy.
Please report unauthorised copies of VibeiDE to info@vibeide.dev.
4. Plans and trial
Solo monthly and yearly plans grant access during the paid subscription period. Team is a monthly per-seat subscription, and the team owner's own seat covers the owner's access. When Team payment is confirmed, the owner's Solo monthly or yearly subscription stops renewing and remains active until the end of its paid period; no refund is issued for that period. Lifetime purchases are unaffected. A member's own subscription is not changed. Current prices and the billing frequency appear before checkout.
A new trial starts when the device first links to an account. Sign-in with Google or email is required before running agent tasks. The trial lasts 14 days, requires no card and is bound to the device to prevent repeated trials. Existing trials retain their stored expiry after sign-in, including historical extensions described in the trial guide. After trial expiry the app enters read-only mode: saved work remains available, but paid execution features require a licence. Deleting an account does not automatically restart a trial.
Updates while maintained; hosted services may end. A lifetime plan means a perpetual licence to the app, including future updates for as long as VibeiDE is maintained. It is not a promise that development, support, provider compatibility or hosted features will continue forever. If the product is discontinued, new updates and hosted services may stop; the licence to the last supplied version remains.
The current app requires periodic online licence validation. If development or hosted licensing is permanently discontinued, we will give affected customers notice and explain the available continuation, migration and statutory remedies. A lifetime purchase does not guarantee permanent availability of hosted services. Your rights if we cannot supply the purchased licence remain unaffected.
5. Prices, taxes and checkout
Prices are in USD unless stated otherwise. Where your applicable tax-inclusive price is known it is shown. Otherwise the displayed price is excl. VAT, VAT added at checkout based on your country. Review the itemised total, tax, billing period and any recurring obligation before the final payment button.
Businesses may provide their business identity and an EU VAT ID. Verification and the place-of-supply conditions determine any reverse charge; a VAT number alone does not waive consumer rights or establish every tax condition. Domestic Slovak transactions and non-EU transactions may have different treatment.
We are a Slovak VAT-registered company. Checkout calculates tax using the applicable customer details and our configured tax registrations. Providing an EU VAT ID does not make a domestic Slovak sale automatically tax-free. Any applicable tax appears before you confirm payment.
6. Renewal, cancellation and price changes
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew at the stated frequency until cancelled. Cancel any time through Billing and the customer portal. Cancellation prevents the next renewal; access continues until the end of the paid period, subject to payment status and mandatory rights. Removing a Team member does not by itself cancel a purchased seat.
We will give at least 30 days notice of a subscription price change before it applies at renewal, or longer where required by law, with an opportunity to cancel. It does not retrospectively change an already paid period.
7. Withdrawal, refunds and digital conformity
EU consumers generally have 14 days from contract conclusion to withdraw from a distance contract. See the withdrawal instructions and form. Checkout does not ask you to waive this right: access begins after payment and your applicable statutory withdrawal rights remain. Orders placed before 14 October 2026 keep the choice recorded at that time, including any immediate-access acknowledgement you selected; the order confirmation states whether one was recorded.
The statutory rules for digital services, including proportionate payment where applicable, continue to apply.
Where withdrawal is valid, we refund amounts due without undue delay and within the applicable statutory deadline, normally 14 days after notice, using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed without extra fees. Contact us for duplicate or incorrect charges. Cancellation alone does not promise a pro-rata refund of a used subscription period, but mandatory refund and conformity remedies remain available.
Nothing here removes consumer rights concerning faulty, non-conforming or undelivered digital content/services, required updates or other mandatory remedies. Send complaints to the contact above. We will acknowledge the complaint and handle it within the applicable statutory period. If we reject your request for redress or do not respond within 30 days, you may seek alternative dispute resolution through the Slovak Trade Inspection or another competent body. Information is available at Slovak Trade Inspection. No blanket "all sales final" term applies.
8. Acceptable use and security
Use only accounts, repositories and data you are entitled to access. Do not commit fraud, infringe rights, send unlawful content, circumvent access controls or interfere with the service. You control agent permissions and must review generated output before relying on it. AI output can be inaccurate or insecure. Marketing agents prepare exact drafts for review and manual publishing; scheduled unattended social publication is not authorised.
If you connect a phone for remote control, you decide which phones may control your computer and what they may do, and you remove a lost phone in Mobile control on that computer. Please report security vulnerabilities to info@vibeide.dev; our disclosure contact is also published at /.well-known/security.txt.
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use or a material contract breach, with notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue where appropriate. Mandatory consumer remedies are unaffected.
9. Team data terms
The workspace owner determines the workplace purpose for member metadata and is responsible as controller for a lawful basis, employee notices, access rights and appropriate use. Do not use completion counts alone to make employment decisions. Crowie's controller and processor roles depend on the purpose. For member metadata processed to operate a workspace, Crowie processes it on the owner's documented instructions to supply the service for the contract duration. The owner must have authority to submit that data. The processing terms below form part of the Team contract. Do not submit special-category data or use work counts alone for employment decisions.
Team settings in the desktop app show the exact shared fields and a pause control. Sharing starts enabled. Company mode is end-to-end encrypted between computers. Task metadata travels from members' computers to verified managers' computers, directly or through Crowie's relay, sealed with keys that exist only on those computers; Crowie's service cannot read it and never stores it. A task without a name uses the start of its prompt as its name. Members can pause room sharing, which immediately stops their computers answering managers; membership and paused status remain visible. Mobile is a separate optional feature; its prompts, voice recordings, output and screenshots pass through the hosted service, end-to-end encrypted with current desktop versions. Read Privacy.
Processing terms for workspace owners
The subject matter is operation of the Team workspace for the paid contract duration and the deletion periods in Privacy. Processing includes receiving, storing, displaying and deleting member identity, roles, invitations, device and team public keys, signed revocations, sharing choices and connection metadata about members and invited users. The owner is controller for that workplace purpose and Crowie is processor. Crowie remains a separate controller for its own account administration, security, billing and legal obligations.
- Crowie processes owner-controlled metadata only on documented instructions, including the enabled settings and this contract, unless applicable law requires otherwise. We will inform the owner of a conflicting legal requirement where permitted and of instructions we consider unlawful.
- Access is limited to authorised people subject to confidentiality duties. Measures include authenticated access, role and account isolation, encrypted transport, restricted infrastructure access and the retention controls described in Privacy.
- The owner authorises hosting by Hetzner. Additional processors must have written obligations offering the required protection. We will notify the owner before a material subprocessor change, allow reasonable objections on data-protection grounds and work to resolve them. International transfers require a lawful mechanism.
- We will assist the owner with relevant data-subject requests, security obligations, breach response, impact assessments and regulatory consultation, taking account of the processing and information available. We will notify the owner without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal-data breach affecting its workspace.
- At the end of service, the owner may export its available data. We delete or return owner-controlled data as instructed, subject to legal retention and the disclosed backup cycle. Statutory accounting data is retained separately.
- We will provide information reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance and permit proportionate audits by the owner or an independent auditor subject to confidentiality, protection of other customers and reasonable scheduling. These terms do not exclude statutory audit rights.
10. Responsibility, liability and law
We remain responsible to the extent required by applicable law. No limitation excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer remedies, fraud or other non-excludable responsibility. These terms do not impose a separate fixed liability cap.
Slovak law governs these terms, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections of their habitual residence where applicable. Nothing requires a consumer to give up a competent court available under mandatory law.
