Questions managers ask
Can a manager read prompts, code or agent output?
No. Company mode never receives prompts, code, diffs, conversations, agent output, project paths, terminals or credentials. They stay on each member’s computer.
What exactly does a manager see?
Each member’s task names (when the member shares them), the provider, the task state, start and finish times, duration, daily and weekly counts and when the member was last connected.
Where do task names come from?
A task name is the name the member typed. A task they did not name uses the start of its prompt. Members can turn task name sharing off, which also removes the names already shared.
Can members turn sharing off?
Yes. Room sharing starts enabled and each member can turn it off at any time. Turning it off deletes their shared activity. Managers see only that sharing is off.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Managers open Company in the VibeiDE phone app at vibeide.dev/mobile/ with their account. It needs no connected computer.
Which AI coding agents does it cover?
Tasks that members run in VibeiDE with Codex, Claude Code or OpenCode. Each member uses their own provider subscription.
What does it cost?
Every member and manager is one paid seat at $14.99 USD per month, before tax. Provider subscriptions are separate. Team billing is monthly and separate from a personal subscription.
How long is shared history kept?
Seven days. Older shared records expire automatically.
