Start with an outcome and boundaries
Create an Autonomous Agent inside your SaaS project and explain the goal in chat. Name the audience, platforms, available material and actions that require review. Codex handles the setup conversation today; support for Claude Code autonomous agents is planned.
A useful brief might ask the agent to prepare a launch week across X, Reddit, Instagram and Facebook, show drafts before publishing and prioritize thoughtful replies. This gives it a reason to schedule work instead of returning on an arbitrary timer.
See the plan for the week
Open the agent calendar to inspect its planned work. Use it to see when the agent expects to research, prepare content or follow up. Calendar plans and publication approvals are separate: approving time on a calendar does not automatically approve the content of a post.
Treat each entry as an intention. Check the conversation and recorded results to understand what actually happened. If a task is blocked or a draft needs your input, the next useful step may be a reply from you.
The agent chooses a next wake-up and a reason
After working through your computer and browser, the agent can save a decision to return at a particular time. For example: Wednesday at 09:00, to check replies to the launch posts and prepare useful follow-ups. The time and reason connect the next run to the work it just did.
Schedules are local and survive an app restart. Execution needs VibeIDE running, your computer awake and provider capacity available. Keep the social accounts accessible in a signed-in browser. If the agent encounters a login challenge or inaccessible tool, it can stop and ask for assistance.
Change the week in a message
Tell the agent: focus on Reddit this week and move the Instagram drafts to Friday. It can use that request to revise its priorities and calendar. You do not need to recreate the agent just because the launch plan changes.
Inspect the updated calendar and the agent reply. If an existing pending calendar needs clearing before its instructions can change, resolve that calendar first and continue the conversation. Pause scheduled work whenever you need to stop future dispatch.
A workspace around the subscription you already use
The calendar and autonomous agent workflow are included in VibeIDE for $7.99 USD per month. Bring your own Codex subscription. No extra VibeIDE API usage bill or token-credit package is required; your provider subscription and its limits remain separate.
Claude Code is already available for supported coding workflows, with autonomous-agent support planned. Short-video workflows for YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram Reels are also in progress.
