Claude Code rate limits: keep the rest of your work moving

Read the provider window, separate process capacity from allowance, and choose useful independent work.

Check the actual window

Read Claude Code account usage and the provider-reported reset countdown in VibeiDE. A local Claude slot controls concurrency. It cannot increase your allowance. Account limits and terms can change, so consult the provider for your current plan.

Keep two providers busy

Use Codex for an independent request when that provider has allowance. Keep one slot per provider while learning the workflow. Review a completed Claude result while Codex investigates a separate task.

Resume deliberately

A running Claude conversation does not move to Codex. When allowance returns, inspect what the interrupted task changed and use its saved conversation for a supported retry or follow-up.
