Plan coding work around provider usage windows

A free terminal slot and available model allowance are different resources. Use provider-reported usage as a planning signal while your project queue controls execution capacity.

Read what the meter actually says

VibeiDE displays percentage used and provider-reported time until reset where available. Its compact usage view includes Claude and Codex windows. A remaining-time label describes the reported reset, not a promise that every next request will succeed.

Separate process limits from account limits

A per-project Claude limit controls concurrent tasks. Raising it does not raise your provider allowance. Several projects can draw on the same authenticated provider account, so consider the total active work visible across the Launchpad.

Choose new work without pretending sessions are portable

You can select a different available provider for an independent task or change a waiting task’s provider where supported. That is a new dispatch decision. VibeiDE does not silently transfer a running Claude conversation to Codex or bypass a provider limit.

Use the waiting interval productively

Review completed changes, refine the next prompt, or challenge the implementation plan before requesting more execution. If you need a precise account limit, check your current provider account and terms. The orchestrator helps organize the workload around those constraints.
